What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist PRN position at Tiny Wonders Speech and Language Therapy, LLC?
Tiny Wonders Speech and Language Therapy is seeking a passionate pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dedicated team. We are committed to helping children unlock their full potential by overcoming communication barriers and developing vital new skills. In this role, you will serve as a vital member of an educational team, supporting elementary-aged students for approximately 8–10 hours per week in a private school setting. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to provide clinical support to outpatient clients as necessary, ranging in age from 18 months to 18 years.
Responsibilities:
1. Evaluate and diagnose speech and language disorders.
2. Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each student/client's needs.
3. Monitor student/client progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
4. Attend student Service Plan meetings as needed.
5. Collaborate with a team of educational professionals to share insights and consider comprehensive student care.
6. Collaborate and educate client’s families about speech and language disorders and available therapies and develop home programs.
Qualifications:
1. A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
2. Current ASHA and FL licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
5. Compassionate and child-centered approach.
Job Details:
1. 8-10 hours weekly in a school setting during the school year
2. Opportunity for additional hours in our private clinic on Tuesdays, Saturdays, and/or after school hours.
3. $45-$55 per hour depending on experience
