Duties
- Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration while ensuring safety and well-being.
- Manage daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and sensory activities with patience and consistency.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions and emotional regulation among infants.
- Collaborate with families to share progress updates, discuss developmental concerns, and tailor care plans to individual needs.
- Incorporate early intervention strategies when necessary to support children with special education needs or developmental delays.
- Maintain accurate documentation of each child's progress, health records, and classroom activities in compliance with licensing standards.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, literacy education, and classroom management best practices.
Experience
- Proven experience working with infants in a childcare setting or preschool environment.
- Strong background in early childhood education principles, including childhood development theories and classroom management techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to develop daily plans focused on early literacy skills and physical education for toddlers.
- Experience with special education practices and early intervention programs is highly desirable but not necessary.
- Prior classroom experience in daycare or private school settings preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and specialists.
