Overview:
Full-time Assistant Preschool Teacher: With the fall school year in full swing, we continue to expand here at TTG, and our student interns have returned back to school. We need to add a couple of team members. We are looking for passionate, personable, and caring teachers. As an Assistant Preschool Teacher, you play a crucial role in providing a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for children to learn and grow. Maybe you have a background in early childhood education or daycare? Or, perhaps you are considering a career in early childhood education? Duties:
- Assist in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for children
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and structured learning
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress
- Ensure the health and safety of all children in your care
- Supervise children during meals, nap time, and outdoor play
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Assist with diaper changes, potty training, and basic hygiene needs
Requirements:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Willing to receive training in early childhood development principles and practices
- Willing to receive training in first aid procedures for children
- Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations with patience and professionalism
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with preschool-aged children
- Familiarity with various teaching methods for young children
- Ability to create engaging activities that promote learning through play
