Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Director at Tiny Treasures Academy located in Staten Island, NY. The Assistant Director will oversee daily operations, collaborate with staff to maintain a safe and engaging learning environment, and assist in the development and implementation of educational programs. Additional responsibilities include supervising and mentoring staff, maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations, and fostering positive relationships with parents and guardians.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field
- Strong leadership, organizational, and team management abilities
- Experience in early childhood education and curriculum development
- Proficient communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with parents, staff, and children
- Knowledge of compliance with childcare regulations and safety standards
- Previous experience in an educational or childcare leadership role is strongly preferred
