Job description:
Play with a Purpose: Pediatric COTA Wanted!
Company: Tiny Tots Therapy
Location: West Valley Arizona (Surprise, Peoria, Glendale)
Position: Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (Full-Time/Part-Time)
Do you believe that "work" should look a lot like "play"? At Tiny Tots Therapy, we are looking for a creative, compassionate, and high-energy Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing team! If you love helping little ones reach their milestones through bubbles, swings, and sensory bins, we want to meet you!
Why You’ll Love It Here:
- The Tiny Tots Vibe: We aren't just another therapy company; we’re a community. Expect a collaborative environment where we celebrate every "inch-stone" as a major milestone.
- Creativity Unleashed: Want to turn a scooter board into a pirate ship or use shaving cream to work on fine motor skills? We’re all for it!
- Growth Mindset: We support our therapists with continuing education, mentorship, and the tools you need to be the best clinician possible.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Empowering Families: Implementing personalized treatment plans for children with diverse needs, including Developmental Delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, and Sensory Processing Disorders.
- Feeding & Nutrition: Using sensory-motor approaches to help children with feeding challenges and oral motor delays gain confidence at the table.
- Skill Building: Helping tiny humans master the "jobs of childhood"—from zipping jackets to navigating playgrounds and building social connections.
- Collaborating: Working closely with our SLPs and amazing parents to provide holistic, child-centered care.
The Perfect Fit:
- You hold a Degree in Occupational Therapy and a current state license.
- You have a heart for pediatrics and experience with a variety of complex medical needs.
- You are a "Problem-Solving Pro" who can adapt a session on the fly when a toddler decides they only want to play with the cardboard box.
- You have excellent communication skills (both with the kids and their grown-ups).
Perks & Benefits:
- Competitive salary (because your expertise is valuable!).
- Flexible scheduling to maintain that all-important work-life balance.
- Full pay for no-shows and last minute cancellations!
- Simple and easy documentation.
- As a private practice, we don't deal with insurance or DDD so you have less requirements to follow
- A "Toolbox" budget for new toys, equipment, and CEUs after working with us for 6 months.
- The best coworkers you’ll ever find (both the human and the stuffed animal kind).
Ready to make a big impact on some tiny lives and work for a company that supports and appreciates you?
