Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and nurturing care for children in a safe and stimulating environment
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote child development and learning
- Create a structured daily routine that includes playtime, meals, naptime, and educational activities
- Ensure the health and safety of children at all times, including administering medication if necessary
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare space
Requirements:
- (Preferred) Previous experience in childcare, such as babysitting, nannying, or working in a daycare/preschool setting
- Knowledge of childhood development and age-appropriate activities
- Ability to manage and redirect challenging behaviors in a positive and constructive manner
- Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and other staff members
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in early childhood education is a plus
