Currently accepting resumes for an Assisstant Director/Lead Teacher for our Lincoln Park location. To qualify for this position you MUST have:
-Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education
OR
-Associates Degree with 9 or more ECE credits
Looking for candidates who have/are:

- Experience teaching in a child care program

- Highly organized, dependable, punctual, detail-oriented, and creative
Main Responsibilities include:
- Create and implement a developmentally appropriate educational program while supporting the program director
- Ensure children are supervised at all times
- Communicate with parents
- Maintain organized and clean classrooms
- Provide children with various activities, both inside and outside the school

Qualifications
- Education mentioned above*
- Experience working with students in a preschool or childcare setting is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and educational best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
- Experience in childcare settings is beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated to take initiative in the classroom.

Responsibilities
- Lead classroom instruction with enthusiasm, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children from birth to 5 years of age.
- Develop and implement innovative curricula with the support of the director aligned with early childhood education standards and best practices.
- Supervise and mentor teaching staff, providing ongoing professional development facilitation to enhance instructional quality.
- Oversee daily school operations, including managing schedules, student assessments, and maintaining educational records.
- Collaborate with families to support children's developmental needs and foster positive relationships.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to early childhood education and school legal requirements.
- Participate in strategic planning efforts to advance the school's mission and long-term objectives.
- Assist in classrooms when needed
Experience
- Proven experience in early childhood education with classroom teaching background in preschool settings.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing school staff and supervising educational personnel.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development, instructional leadership, and educational compliance regulations.
- Experience in school administrative roles such as School Administrative Director or similar leadership positions preferred.
- Familiarity with special education law and childhood development principles is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills for team leadership, and parent engagement.
- Background in working with diverse student populations within early childhood or preschool environments is advantageous.
