Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily activities that promote infant development, including sensory play, tummy time, and social interactions
- Support diapering, feeding, and nap routines with patience and attentiveness to each child's needs
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment by following health and safety protocols
- Engage with children through gentle guidance, encouragement, and positive reinforcement to foster good behavior and emotional well-being
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent caregiving practices and effective classroom management
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child's day-to-day activities and progress
Requirements
- Prior experience working with infants
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-appropriate activities for infants a plus.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not already held
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a caring, nurturing approach
- Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic needs of infants and their families
