Duties

• Provide attentive supervision for children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills
• Ensure children's safety by adhering to child supervision best practices and childhood development standards
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, needs, and any concerns
• Maintain a clean, organized environment that supports healthy development and safety standards
• Administer basic first aid and CPR when necessary, following mandated reporting laws and safety protocols
• Support children with behavioral management techniques to encourage positive interactions and emotional regulation

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare centers, preschools, or youth programs.
• Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
• Experience caring for infants through elementary school-age children with a focus on toddler care, preschooler care, and school-age activities
• Familiarity with activity planning tailored to children's interests and developmental stages
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child's needs and progress
• Hands-on experience in behavior management strategies suitable for young children
• Demonstrate patience and love for infants through elementary school-age
• Interact with children while teaching them
