Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Child Care Provider Teacher & Driver to join our vibrant team. Additionally, you will provide reliable transportation for children to and from various activities, appointments, or school, ensuring punctuality and safety at all times. Responsibilities
- Supervise children during playtime, learning activities, meals, naps, and outdoor excursions to ensure their safety and engagement.
- Implement age-appropriate child development instruction focusing on social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to all health and safety protocols, including first aid and pediatric CPR when necessary.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to provide updates on children’s progress, behavior, and any concerns that arise.
- Manage classroom routines effectively while incorporating behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among children.
- Transport children safely to appointments, school, or extracurricular activities using reliable vehicle transportation while following all mandated reporting laws and safety regulations.
- Document daily activities, developmental milestones, and any incidents accurately in accordance with childcare standards.
Experience not mandatory
- Prior experience working with young children in daycare centers, preschools, or similar childcare settings is highly preferred but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to foster a nurturing and structured environment.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a strong plus.
- Certification in first aid, CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), pediatric first aid, and mandated reporting laws is required or willing to obtain upon hire.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and children to build trusting relationships.
- Hands-on experience in toddler care, infant care, babysitting or nannying roles that showcase caregiving skills and patience.
