Qualifications- 2 years’ experience ECE Supervising Field- Bachelors in Early Childhood Education/ Child Development- Valid Site Supervisor/Program Director Permit- Knowledge of DRDP, Preschool Learning Foundations & Framework- Knowledge Title 22 & Title 5 Regulation- Knowledge of CACFP (California Food Program)- Up to date with Required Licensing Documentations- Preventative Health and Safety training- Valid Driver’s License- Background Clearance- CPR/First Aid Certified- Great Organization skills- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)- Lift more then 40lbsPrimary Responsibilities:The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various of type of work that may be perform. The omission of the specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment to this classDevelopment and implementation of policies and procedures for the daily operation of the center.Oversees facility operations, upkeep/maintenance, cleaning schedules, safety procedures and drills.Record keeping for the facility including all required Department of Child Care Licensing, title 22, local health office.Supervises and mentors’ teachers and aides in the implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum, class room management and behavior management strategiesProvide mentoring and coaching to teachers Continually educating the staff and parents on current events, pertaining to preschool aged children.Establishes and maintains positive relationships with parents including tours/intake, program education/rules/requirements, meetings, and ongoing communicationWorks actively with teachers to maintain high program standardsEstablish individual and group performance goals and objectives for teachers, students, and the center; monitor for progress· Plans activities for children with special needs, with training and technical assistance from disabilities and mental health specialists; implements individual education plans, behavior management plans, and/or individualized services or activities as outlined for these children.Works above all to establish a fun, clean, safe, and caring environment for all of the children in the centerHires and retained a staff of more than 25 highly qualified teachers and assistants. Assign tasks, lead staff meetings and organizes special events for the children and their families.Uses electronic and social media to communicate with current and prospective families.Models professional conduct to staffStep into classroom when needed to break or cover teachers whom is out and site supervisor is unable to step in.Responsible for enrollment, finances (including; cost control, cash receipts and receivables from parents, money receipts from state and federal agencies, payroll, and reports to management/ owner).Evaluates and documents staff job performance and recommends merit increasesOversee the routine administration, student admissions, teacher recruitment, and training.Develop the policies, plan activities and budget for the upcoming academic year.Maintain Enrollment at 98%
