Job Summary
Candidate must be able to work 8:00-3:30 Monday-Thursday and Friday 8:00-12:00.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. This role involves implementing engaging curriculum activities that promote literacy education, behavior management, and special education strategies tailored to meet the diverse needs of all students.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with educational standards and promotes literacy education.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children, including those with special needs or autism.
- Foster positive relationships with children through effective communication and active engagement in their learning experiences.
- Plan and conduct daily activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and social interaction among preschoolers.
- Monitor children's progress and behavior, providing guidance and support as needed to promote positive outcomes.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to discuss children's development and address any concerns regarding their learning journey.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom that is conducive to learning while ensuring the safety of all students.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of preschool education principles, including curriculum development and toddler care.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience in behavior management techniques to support children's emotional regulation.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or other early childhood education philosophies is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating flexibility in adapting to changing needs.
- Understanding of literacy education strategies that cater to diverse learning styles.
