THMGNM partners with municipalities, nonprofits, and agencies to deliver scalable housing solutions that can be deployed rapidly while supporting long-term community impact. Role Description The Franchise Owner role at Tiny Homes Manufacturing Group New Mexico is a full-time, on-site position based in Edgewood, NM. The Franchise Owner will oversee daily franchise operations, including managing sales pipelines, monitoring production timelines, and ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality tiny homes. Responsibilities include building and leading a local team, recruiting and training staff, and implementing operational standards that align with the company’s mission and brand. The Franchise Owner will engage with customers, community partners, and local organizations to generate leads, develop strategic relationships, and promote THMGNM’s housing solutions. Additional duties include budgeting, forecasting, reporting performance metrics, maintaining compliance with local regulations, and driving continuous improvement in processes, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications

  • Experience in franchising, including operating or managing a franchise or multi-unit business, and the ability to follow and optimize established systems and processes.
  • Strong sales and business development skills, with a track record of building pipelines, closing deals, and nurturing long-term customer and partner relationships.
  • Background in training, coaching, and developing team members to uphold brand standards, operational excellence, and safety practices.
  • Experience in recruiting, hiring, and retaining staff, with the ability to build a diverse, inclusive, and high-performing team.
  • Customer service skills that support clear communication, empathy, and problem-solving, ensuring a positive experience for buyers, partners, and community stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong financial acumen, including budgeting, P&L management, and performance tracking.
  • Knowledge of or interest in residential construction, manufacturing, or housing programs; experience working with municipalities, nonprofits, or Veteran-focused organizations is a plus.
  • Ability to work on-site in Edgewood, NM, with reliable access to local markets and community partners; valid driver’s license
