What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Teacher/Teacher's Assistant/Cook position at Tiny Hearts Child Care Center/Tiny Hearts Enrichment Center?
Tiny Heart's Child Care Center and Tiny Hearts Enrichment Center are looking for highly qualified full-time and part-time teachers and assistants and cooks, who will provide quality childcare to children ages 6 weeks-5 years old. (up to12 years old for afterschool).
We are looking for individuals who can be caring, nurturing, and energetic, along with bringing warmth to the classroom. Tiny Heart's would like to add teachers to the team who can interact positively with families and team members on a daily basis, to ensure a positive and productive center.
Full-time and Part-time teachers are responsible for care, supervision and daily development of children while assuring their classroom is in compliance with NC childcare laws. This position would also include the following responsibilities but not limited to:
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of the children
- Engage the children with a curriculum that promotes social, physical, verbal and cognitive development.
- Maintain accurate classroom records
- Work well with children at different learning stages
**Previous experience in licensed childcare/preschool preferred**
QUALIFICATIONS:
- NC Early Childhood Credentials required at time of hire or within 6 months of employment.
- TB test or screening
- CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment.
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to bend, lift and carry up to 35-40lbs, stoop, sit and bend.
- Willing to complete all health and safety training required by DCDEE
- Care and love for children and their families
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $9.00 - $11.50 per hour
