Responsibilities
- Create and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
- Support children’s emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development
- Observe and assess student progress through documentation and communication
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
- Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and licensing standards
- Collaborate with staff to strengthen curriculum and classroom practices
- Participate in trainings and professional development opportunities
QualificationsRequired
- Massachusetts EEC Certification (Infant/Toddler or Preschool, based on position)
- EEC StrongStart Essentials 2.0
- Active PQR Number
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Dependable, organized, and professional attitude
- Passion for early childhood education
Preferred
- Previous childcare center or classroom experience
- College or university coursework in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Experience with diverse learners and inclusive classroom practices
