Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that all Fluff and Fold laundry is cleaned, dried, and folded properly. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our Customers. Strong Customer Service skills are essential.
Duties:
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold Customer laundry according to established procedures
- Inspect laundry for stains or damages and treat them accordingly
- Operate commercial laundry equipment such as washers and dryers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Knowledge of proper laundering techniques for different fabrics
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including standing for long periods, bending, lifting heavy loads, etc.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays or different shifts as needed
Skills:
- Cleanliness: Ensure that machines and work areas are thoroughly cleaned and free from debris and spills.
- Customer Service: Interact with Customers in a professional and courteous manner.
This position is ideal for Part-time work for extra income. This shift is approximately 7 hours a day or approximately 21 to 28 hours a week. We provide training on-site for the right candidate.
