Overview
Tinsley Design and Fabricating, LLC is looking to hire an experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist to lead our machining department. We are a full-service metal manufacturing company that manufactures our own line of automated chocolate processing equipment and supplies production quantities of fabricated and machined parts to our customer base throughout North America.
Qualifications:
- Ability to create machining programs using engineering drawings,
CAD files, and Cam Programs
- 5 years of experience with CNC lathe and milling machine operations
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining principles
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments for quality control
Responsibilities:
- Identify and implement the most efficient methods of manufacturing to produce a
quality product.
- Read and interpret prints to understand product specifications
- Program, set-up and operate CNC milling machines and lathes
- Inspect finished products for quality and strict adherence to specifications
- Troubleshoot machinery and equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain
optimal performance
- Identify new equipment for future business opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support new product
development and process improvement initiatives.

Pay: $25 to $40 per hour depending on experience
