The Tinley Park-Park District is seeking energetic, certified Fitness Instructors to teach classes as independent contractors at our Recreation Center. This is a flexible opportunity where you can design your own programs, share your passion for health and wellness, and make a positive impact in the community. Whether your specialty is yoga, Pilates, cycling, Zumba, HIIT, or another fitness format, we welcome your expertise and creativity!
Teaching a class at the Tinley Park-Park District has many benefits:

- We handle all program registrations, provide you with up-to-date rosters, attendance sheets, and waitlists.
- Flexible registration for participants who can register online, in-person, and by mail.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead safe, engaging, and effective fitness classes for participants of all levels.
- Provide instruction on proper form, technique, and modifications as needed.
- Encourage and motivate participants to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
- Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to create a positive class experience.
- Keep equipment and studio spaces clean and organized.
Details:
- This is a contract position (you will receive a 1099 form)
- Contractual Instructors are responsible for their own taxes and insurance
