NOW HIRING: Aquatics Supervisor
JOB SUMMARY: The Aquatic Supervisor is responsible for the development, implementation, training, supervision, and promotion of all aquatic programming and special events at both the White Water Canyon Water Park and Tinley Fitness. Additionally, this full time position will be a part of the Water Park Management team, supervising the general aquatic programs, organizing aquatic rentals, scheduling seasonal aquatic staff and preparing brochure copy, flyers and newsletters. Flexible hours are required and include weeknights, weekends, and some holidays. During the summer water park season, hours will fluctuate based upon water park management schedule(s). During the Water Park off season, this position will work closely with the Facility Supervisor to ensure adequate building supervision at both the Recreation Center and Fitness Center.
LOCATION: Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center, 8125 W. 171st St, Tinley Park
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Recreation Management, Facility Operations, or related field; supervisory experience required. StarGuard Lifeguard or other nationally recognized training is required, StarGuard Instructor Certification preferred. Certified Pool Operator Certification (CPO) must be obtained within six (6) months of hire. Instructor Trainer status for any certification is highly desired. Certifications must be maintained throughout employment.
INCENTIVES: This full-time position requires flexibility to work weekends and evening hours. Salary range begins at $45,760 to $55,000/annually.
