Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technician

Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician, where you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and repairing essential climate control systems across diverse properties. Your hands-on skills will ensure that heating, cooling, refrigeration, and ventilation equipment operate smoothly, supporting the comfort and safety of our clients and their occupants.

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems using schematics and technical manuals.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, system calibrations, and component inspections to prevent future failures.
• Install new HVAC equipment in compliance with design specifications and safety standards, ensuring optimal performance.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to accurately troubleshoot issues and plan repairs or installations.
• Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including pipe connections for refrigeration or ammonia refrigeration units.
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for mechanical repairs when necessary.
• Maintain detailed service records, logs of repairs performed, parts used, and system performance reports for each property serviced.

• Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC or related mechanical fields with a strong understanding of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems.
• Hands-on experience with construction sites or property maintenance environments is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, ammonia refrigeration processes, and boiler operation.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with field service experience in appliance repair or equipment maintenance.
• Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and perform welding or equipment repair tasks confidently.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred for transportation between sites.
• Certifications in HVAC/R technology or refrigeration are a plus; ongoing training in mechanical systems is encouraged.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Pay: $25.03 - $30.15 per hour
