We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Human Resources to lead the company’s people function during a critical period of business transformation and organizational restructuring. Reporting directly to the CEO, this executive will serve as a trusted advisor and strategic business partner while helping modernize HR operations, strengthen organizational infrastructure, and support evolving business initiatives across multiple facilities.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership & Leadership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team on all people-related initiatives and organizational matters.
- Lead HR efforts related to organizational restructuring, operational improvements, and business transformation initiatives.
- Partner with the leadership team to assess organizational design, workforce planning, and succession strategies.
- Participate in the transition and transfer of divisional responsibilities as the organization evolves.
- Provide strategic guidance regarding employee relations, compliance, talent planning, and organizational effectiveness.
Culture & Organizational Transformation
- Help shape and drive a high-performance culture centered around accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
- Lead initiatives focused on employee engagement, communication, and cultural alignment across multiple locations.
- Support leadership through periods of change management and organizational transition.
- Develop programs and initiatives that strengthen morale, improve retention, and enhance the employee experience.
Policy, Compliance & HR Operations
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations across multiple operating locations.
- Evaluate and improve HR policies, procedures, employee handbooks, and operational practices.
- Oversee employee relations matters, investigations, documentation, and performance management processes.
- Partner with external HR vendors and internal stakeholders to optimize HR systems, payroll, benefits, and employee support processes.
- Build and implement scalable HR infrastructure to support continued organizational growth.
Talent Acquisition & Development
- Partner with hiring managers and executives to develop talent acquisition strategies for key positions across the organization.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, leadership development, and succession planning initiatives.
- Build scalable performance management and professional development programs aligned with business goals.
- Support workforce growth initiatives tied to acquisitions and expansion efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 7 years of progressive HR leadership experience, ideally within manufacturing, distribution, industrial, or multi-site environments.
- Proven experience leading organizational transformation, restructuring, or significant operational change initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, HR compliance, organizational development, and talent management.
- Experience supporting multi-location operations and geographically dispersed teams.
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive leadership and operate as a strategic business partner.
- Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves leadership style with the ability to operate strategically and tactically.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to AL.
Salary : $120,000 - $135,000
