Tier II Coordinator

QUALIFICATIONS:

• IEA member

REPORTS TO:

Principal

JOB GOAL:

To organize and oversee the Tier 2 program for students who warrant additional academic or behavioral interventions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Attend monthly Tier 2 meetings.
• Proactive intervention designed to help students struggling academically and behaviorally
• For students struggling academically, help set an action plan to improve academics
• For students struggling behaviorally, assist in creating a behavior chart or identify a CICO person
• Communicate to teachers the plan of action for students.
• Communicate with the building administration regarding student success and/or need for further support.

APPROXIMATE NUMBER OF HOURS:

Estimated times include one hour per week to communicate and organize materials for the program.

Approximately 20 hours per school year
