Tindle Handyman Co. is a growing, locally owned handyman and property maintenance company serving Greenville and the surrounding Upstate area. We partner closely with property managers, landlords, and real estate professionals to provide reliable, high-quality repair and maintenance services for rental properties and residential homes.
We are currently seeking an experienced Property Maintenance Technician who takes pride in their work, values consistency, and is interested in growing long-term with a small but expanding company.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong maintenance background who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and building trusted relationships with property managers and tenants.
Position Overview
As a Property Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for completing day-to-day repair and maintenance requests for rental properties and managed homes. Work will include a wide range of general repairs, preventative maintenance, and turnover-ready tasks to help keep properties safe, functional, and rent-ready.
Job Responsibilities
- Complete maintenance and repair requests for rental properties and managed homes
- Perform unit turnover and make-ready work between tenants
- Drywall repair and painting
- Door, lock, and hardware repairs
- Basic carpentry and trim work
- Minor plumbing repairs (leaks, faucets, toilets)
- Minor electrical repairs (switches, outlets, fixtures – non-licensed)
- Flooring repairs and replacements
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues and identify long-term solutions
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks as assigned
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
- Communicate clearly with property managers, tenants (as needed), and office staff
- Accurately document completed work using job management software
- Represent Tindle Handyman Co. professionally at all times
Pay & Benefits
- $25–$30 per hour (based on experience and skill level)
- Full-time, year-round work

Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in property maintenance, handyman services, construction, or a related trade
- Strong working knowledge of common residential and rental property repairs
- Ability to work independently and manage daily service calls
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
