- Reduce risk through disciplined audits, data-driven investigations, and practical training.
- Ensure our emergency equipment is ready, our records are complete, and our standards meet or exceed regulatory expectations.
- Inspections & Audits: Conduct routine walk-throughs of equipment, material flow, and work zones to spot and correct hazards.
- Incident Response: Lead investigations of injuries and near-misses; identify root causes; track and verify corrective actions.
- Documentation Control: Keep SDS files, training rosters, and inspection logs organized, current, and accessible.
- Risk Assessments: Evaluate precast-specific exposures such as crane/rigging, confined spaces, chemicals, and manual/material handling.
- Training Delivery: Facilitate new-hire orientation, equipment-operator instruction, and emergency response preparation.
- Engagement: Run toolbox talks and coordinate safety committee activities to drive ongoing improvement.
- Readiness: Verify first aid kits, eyewash stations, and other emergency assets meet requirements and are easy to access.
- Compliance: Maintain alignment with OSHA 1910 General Industry and other relevant standards.
- Bachelor’s in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental science, or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of manufacturing safety experience.
- Self-starter who can operate with minimal supervision.
- Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA and manufacturing regulatory requirements.
- Clear, confident communicator—written and verbal—across shop floor to leadership.
- Spanish language proficiency
