Job Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Be the first face our customers see. Provide friendly and professional service while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Sandwich Preparation: Prepare sandwiches using fresh ingredients, ensuring that each order meets our high-quality standards.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep your work area tidy and follow food safety rules.
- Money Handling: Process payments, handle money, and maintain accurate records of transactions.
- Order Fulfillment: Assist with phone orders, online orders, and manage deliveries when needed.
- Inventory Management: Keep track of stock levels and help with inventory organization.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members to ensure a smooth, fast-paced operation.
Additional Responsibilities for In-Shop Staff with Delivery Duties:
- Driving: If you have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, you may be asked to deliver orders when needed.
- Time Management: Timely delivery and accurate order fulfillment are essential, especially during busy periods.
Requirements:
- Age Requirement: Applicants must be 18 years or older.
- Driver’s License: Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record (preferred for delivery duties).
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills are essential to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage deliveries and keep track of inventory effectively.
- Food Handler’s Permit: Willingness to obtain a food handler's permit if not already certified.
- Time Flexibility: Ability to work nights, weekends, and extended hours as needed.
- Experience: Previous food service or delivery experience is a plus. (Uber, DoorDash, Grubhub, etc. experience is a plus, but not required).
- Positive Attitude: Ability to stay calm under pressure and work well in a team-oriented environment.
