MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
West End Terrace Apartments - Nashville, TN
Position Overview
West End Terrace Apartments is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and overall condition of our apartment community. This role is critical to maintaining a safe, functional, and attractive property environment.
This is an immediate hire opportunity due to a current staffing need.
Location: West End Terrace Apartments | 261 White Bridge Road | Nashville, TN 37209
Compensation: $25.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-time position, Monday - Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Reporting To: Property Manager
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Repairs
Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner
Perform general repairs (plumbing, electrical, minor carpentry, etc.)
Troubleshoot maintenance issues and coordinate solutions
Property Upkeep
Maintain common areas and building systems
Ensure property remains safe and operational
Unit Turnovers
Prepare vacant units for leasing
Perform trash-outs and basic repairs as needed
Safety & Compliance
Identify and report hazards immediately
Follow all company safety and compliance policies
Team Support
Work closely with management and onsite staff
Assist grounds/porter staff as needed
Minimum Qualifications
Valid Tennessee driver’s license
Reliable transportation
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Experience
Previous apartment or multi-family maintenance experience
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
Experience handling work orders and property maintenance systems
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work outdoors as needed
Ideal Candidate
