Timken’s Aurora Bearing facility is hiring a Warehouse & Logistics Materials Specialist. We’ll train you on the job and support your growth. Starting pay: $17.50–$19.00 per hour, depending on experience.
What is the schedule?Day shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
What will I actually do?- Protect every part: Package and label products accurately for safe handling and correct identification.
- Keep materials moving: Operate forklifts, trucks, and power pallet lifters to transport items throughout the plant.
- Support inbound/outbound flow: Load and unload vehicles and store materials in designated locations.
- Connect with local partners: Help deliver parts to nearby vendors and receive incoming shipments.
- Own the count: Perform cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Document the work: Read, interpret, and complete production forms.
- Be close to the action: Work around sawing, turning, and grinding operations.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort with shop math
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong communicator with co-workers, suppliers, and plant leaders
- Valid driver’s license and insurance
- Packaging experience
- Meets physical requirements of the role
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Forklifts and other powered industrial equipment; exposure to sawing, turning, and grinding machinery
