We’re seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to support document control, configuration data accuracy, and change management in an Oracle ERP environment. This role plays a key part in preparing for a new ERP implementation and ensuring configuration integrity across engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing teams.
Responsibilities:
- Create and manage items and Bills of Materials (BOMs) within Oracle ERP.
- Oversee document change control, revision tracking, and release processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on configuration and documentation standards.
- Support cleanup and organization of existing documentation prior to ERP transition.
- Ensure compliance with Configuration Management standards such as EIA-649 and MIL-STD-480.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in configuration management, document control, or product data management.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP or a similar enterprise system.
- Familiarity with EIA-649, MIL-STD-480, or AS9100 standards.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments preferred.
