Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and light food items with skill and care.
- Operate POS systems
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS operations with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and reconciliation.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing inquiries professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas, ensuring all food handling complies with health regulations.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly while maintaining quality standards.
- Assist in food preparation and serving as needed to support smooth café operations.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
