Duties
- Greet customers warmly, identify their needs, and provide expert guidance on product selections and design solutions
- Assist clients with remodeling, renovation, and fixture sales by offering tailored recommendations and technical insights
- Upsell complementary products and services to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Manage inside sales transactions through POS systems, handle cashing out procedures, and maintain accurate cash handling records
- Build strong customer relationships through personalized communication, follow-up, and account management strategies
- Maintain showroom organization by stocking merchandise, updating displays, and ensuring the space is inviting and well-merchandised
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or construction sales with a focus on high-end markets
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively while maintaining positive client rapport
- Knowledge of remodeling processes, renovation projects, fixture sales, and construction experience a plus
- Multilingual abilities are a plus for engaging a diverse clientele effectively
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to clearly convey product benefits and technical details
- Organizational skills to manage multiple clients simultaneously while providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for pricing, discounts, and measurements accurately
