You will be reporting directly to the owner. MUST HAVE GAS STATION AND CONVENIENCE STORE EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the retail team, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating employee performance to foster a high-performing sales environment
• Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth functioning of sales processes, inventory management, and customer service standards
• Manage inventory control and purchasing activities to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce shrinkage
• Implement effective merchandising strategies to enhance product presentation and maximize sales opportunities
• Handle cash management duties such as cashiering, cash handling, payroll processing, and balancing registers accurately
• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed store targets while maintaining excellent customer service standards
• Coordinate shift schedules, delegate tasks efficiently, and ensure compliance with operational policies and safety regulations

Skills

• Proven management experience within the retail industry, including supervising teams and managing store operations
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive team environment
• Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued for diverse customer engagement
• Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and basic bookkeeping practices
• Skilled in negotiation, purchasing, pricing strategies, and sales management techniques
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities such as employee orientation, interviewing, training & development, and operational oversight
• Sound understanding of retail math including budgeting, pricing adjustments, and sales analysis
• Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail in stock control, merchandising, and time management
• Demonstrated experience in customer service excellence and phone etiquette in a fast-paced retail setting
• Capable of managing payroll processes while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements
