Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans for clients with behavioral health needs. Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by the supervising BCBA.
- Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors during sessions.
- Provide one-on-one support to clients in various settings, including homes, schools, and community environments.
- Assist in the development of skills for daily living and social interactions.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and progress notes as required.
- Collaborate with team members, including therapists and family members, to ensure a cohesive approach to care.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in applied behavior analysis.
Experience
Ideal candidates will possess experience or knowledge in the following areas:
- 2 years of experience working with children or children with autism.
- Behavioral health practices and interventions.
- Gender issues counseling techniques.
- Medical documentation standards.
- Psychotherapy practices.
- Individual and group counseling dynamics.
- Clinical research related to behavioral health.
- Applied behavior analysis techniques and principles.
