Position Summary:
This position is for a part-time Field Technician for our Orlando FL location. A Field Technician is needed to support the remediation / treatment system operation and maintenance and execute environmental sampling at various locations.
Essential Job Functions:
The following duties are considered essential to the role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions:
Establish and maintain clear lines of communication with project management team, regulatory agency representatives, and end client representatives.
Regularly participate in the daily operation and maintenance of remediation treatment systems.
Collect groundwater, soil, sediment and surface water samples following federal, state and local standard operating procedures.
Work independently, in and out of town on extended deployments, on weekends, holidays and outside normal workday hours, as warranted.
- Manage subconsultants / subcontractors associated monitoring well installations, geophysical surveys, and general construction activities.
Required Qualifications:
Associates of Science degree, or higher preferred.
Minimum of two years’ industry related experience.
Valid driver's license in good standing is mandatory.
- Current 40-hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Standard training certification.
- Possess a working knowledge of the principles, procedures, methods, equipment, materials, and tools employed with environmental sampling.
