Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Worker with Forklift Operations experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will need to have experience in warehouse operations, including the operation of forklifts, and be committed to maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient workplace.
Duties
- Manage inventory control processes using warehouse management systems and RF scanners to track stock levels accurately.
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities by preparing shipments, verifying orders, and ensuring proper documentation.
- Perform stocking, picking & packing, and order fulfillment tasks to meet customer demands promptly.
- Conduct regular safety inspections in compliance with OSHA standards; operate heavy machinery with mechanical knowledge and adherence to safety protocols.
- Support warehouse distribution efforts by organizing materials for manufacturing or construction projects as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space to promote a safe working environment and optimize workflow.
Experience
- Experience working in a warehouse in a non-managerial capacity.
- Proven ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, or order pickers; certifications are a plus.
- Experience with shipping & receiving procedures, order picking & packing processes, and load & unload operations.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse environments; mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance is advantageous.
- Demonstrated skills in materials handling, heavy lifting, packaging, and using tools like pallet jacks or RF scanners.
