Responsibilities
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly
- Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product information or demonstrations
- Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with precision and confidence
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure products are attractive and accessible
- Assist in stocking shelves, managing inventory levels, and ensuring products are properly labeled
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Upsell products and promote store promotions to maximize sales opportunities while respecting customer needs
- Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Support store operations through effective merchandising, product demos, and stock management
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all shoppers
Experience
- Previous cashiering or retail sales experience is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Supervising experience is a plus, especially in managing team members or training new staff
- Bilingual skills are highly desirable to better serve diverse customer needs
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math is beneficial
