What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Executive position at Time Machine?
Role: ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE (product is a breakthrough AI based training platform for Sales Teams)
Amazing opportunity to be part of the founding Go-To-Market team, sell a fun product that improves learning and results, and be on the forefront of AI. In addition, this role will work closely with the 2 founders (experienced operators with a proven track record). We are an AI based onboarding & training platform that helps companies significantly improve their results. Our platform saves leadership significant time, and creates and delivers drastically better training than what they have today. Our platform is highly interactive and includes realistic role plays as well. This is a fun product to sell and we have a lot of momentum and growth in our business. We are big on development and career path internally and will be promoting heavily from within.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own the sales cycle - including outbound prospecting, qualifying leads, closing sales opportunities, and upsells.
- Master the ability to tell the Time Machine story and how we are a game changer for the various sales teams we support.
- Conduct outbound prospecting via LinkedIn, Phone, and Email.
- Utilize a customer-focused selling process to identify needs and goals of potential customers.
- Demonstrate and present product information and features via phone, web, and onsite with prospects
- Value & Solution selling
- Build customer relationships to support their success, upsell, and generate referrals
- Establish relationships with referral partners and influencers
- Meet and exceed individual daily, weekly, and monthly targets and goals
- Utilize our CRM to internally track all activities
WHO YOU ARE:
- 2-4 years of successful quota carrying sales experience in SaaS
- Successful business development background generating leads
- Willingness to lean in on heavy outbound prospecting
- Master negotiator & closer
- Strong networking and relationship building skills
- Curiosity, ability to listen, desire to learn
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude and mentality
- Coachable, flexible, and self-motivated
- Diligent self-starter; someone with initiative
- Strong organization and follow-up skills
- Resilient, doesn’t give up easily
- Experience selling to sales leaders is helpful
