The Store Manager is responsible for supervising staff, managing daily store operations, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving ability, and the skills to oversee budgets, safety compliance, and store performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations and staff performance
- Train, supervise, and evaluate employees
- Develop and monitor employee training programs
- Review and analyze financial and performance reports (daily, weekly, monthly, annual)
- Assist with interviewing and hiring of employees
- Maintain customer service standards and resolve escalated issues
- Review inventory, pricing, and rental contracts
- Forecast income, expenses, and equipment usage; prepare budgets
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and security procedures
- Network with industry professionals and represent the company in meetings
- Investigate accidents, safety violations, and file reports when necessary
- Supervise facility maintenance and housekeeping
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field (required)
- Management-level experience (equipment rental industry preferred)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Proficiency with computer systems and basic business math
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a drug screening
