What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Timbuktu Restaurant?

As Timbuktu continues to expand, we are looking for experienced food service professionals in the restaurant industry to join our family and be a team player in a fast-paced, busy environment. -Ensure that patrons have an enjoyable dining experience
-Provide quality customer service
- Take orders
-Serve food and drinks
-Remove dinnerware from the table in a timely manner
-Cloth tables, set decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, and utensils
-Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
-Help patrons select food and beverages by offering cocktails and appetizers; suggest courses; explain the chef's specials; identify appropriate wines; answer food preparation questions
-Convey orders to the bar and kitchen by recording patrons' choices; identify patrons' special dietary needs and special requests
-Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to patron spills or other special needs
-Obtain revenues by totaling charges; issuing the bill; accepting payment; returning change or credit card and signature slip to patrons
Server Skills and Qualifications:
