Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and hybrid systems.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive service tools to complete repairs with precision.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating tasks, and communicate repair findings clearly to customers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service orders while maintaining high quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair.
- Solid understanding of automotive electrical systems, powertrains, transmissions, and hybrid systems.
- Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics software and schematics interpretation.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools.
- Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with strong customer service skills to explain repairs clearly.
