Timberline Veterinary Emergency and Specialty (TVES) is a locally owned 24-hr emergency and specialty hospital located in Seattle, WA. founded by Dr. Beth Davidow (DACVECC), Dr. Laura Ahlgrim and Dr. Chris Bailey in 2023. We currently have Critical Care and Surgery, along with outside support for histopathology (located inside of our building) radiology/ultrasound and cardiology.
We occupy a 14,000 sq building and are undergoing a renovation and expansion with installation of a CT unit.
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for an Internal Medicine Specialist that wants to create the premiere Internal Medicine service at TVES. This role involves participating in hospital rounds, managing a combination of both inpatients and outpatients with complex medical problems and working collaboratively with our referring veterinarians and the TVES team to provide exceptional veterinary medicine. The ideal candidate would be excited to be involved in the selection of the IM team and help develop the service within our hospital. We are looking for an individual that loves to learn and is constantly challenging and changing practices based on new evidence. With additional specialty support, we hope to expand our ability to perform clinical trials at our facility, further train and support our VTS aspiring LVTs and continuously improve on our in-hospital protocols.
