Responsibilities

• Perform the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, including:
  • Tooth extractions
  • Dental implants
  • Bone grafting
  • Orthognathic surgery
  • Oral pathology management
• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with referring general dentists, orthodontists, pediatric dentists, and other specialists to ensure exceptional patient care
• Administer local anesthesia, nitrous oxide, and IV sedation in accordance with state regulations and patient needs
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, surgical procedures, post-operative care, and expected outcomes
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA and practice standards
• Ensure surgical operatories remain fully equipped, sterile, and prepared for procedures
• Stay current with advancements in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery through continuing education
• Help uphold the practice's reputation for clinical excellence and compassionate patient care

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
• Completion of an accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
• Active Washington dental license (or ability to obtain)
• Idaho dental license (or ability to obtain) is a plus
• Active DEA registration
• Strong clinical judgment and surgical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing outstanding, patient-centered care
