We're looking for team members who are passionate about their work and the world around them, take pride in ensuring our guests receive the best possible service, and bring a sense of self and fun to all they do.
Responsibilities:
- Assist, provide medical care to, and transport sick and injured patients.
- Perform sweeps at the beginning/end of the day to ensure that all trails are safe and guests are safely off the mountain.
- Transport and set up supplies and equipment on skis or snowboard.
- Execute chairlift evacuations.
- Perform trail maintenance, including marking and mitigating hazards to skiing public.
- Promote guest safety through education and enforcement of Timberline Mountain Operations Guide.
- Complete daily paperwork, and ensure incident reports are completed correctly.
Requirements:
- Applicants may use alpine skis, tele skis, or snowboards.
- Must be an expert level skier or boarder.
- Must be able to work in inclement weather in a high alpine environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must be at least 18 years old by 11/1/2025 to apply.
- All employees age 18 will complete a background check upon hire.
- Must have excellent guest service skills.
- Must work well in a team.
- Must hold a current OEC card.
- Minimum 1 year experience patrolling with references is required.
- Resume preferred.

Pay Rate:
- $18 per hour
- Employees receive a pay raise with each year of experience working at Timberline Mountain (up to $2.00 total).
Available positions are part-time or full-time, with work hours Monday-Thursday 8AM-5PM, Friday-Sunday 4PM-8:30PM extra hours available during holidays.
