What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Glamping Cleaner position at Timberline Glamping Cheaha?
Job Overview
✨Cleanliness is one of the most important parts of creating an exceptional guest experience, and we're looking for someone who takes pride in doing things right, who is incredibly thorough (the phrase "obsessive about details" might apply to you!), pays attention to every single tiny little detail.
Position Overview
We're looking for a dependable cleaner who wants consistent work and can become our primary cleaner.
This is more than simply cleaning—it means preparing each tent so every guest arrives to a spotless, calm, welcoming space. The vibe is everything.
This is an outdoor job! Be prepared to work whether it's hot, cold, raining (though in rain you'll at least be primarily inside the enclosed tent so that's nice!).
Responsibilities
- Commit to shifts and show up - there is not someone else to do your shift, so you must be reliable.
- Complete thorough, detailed cleans after guest stays
- Setup incoming guest with a welcoming experience, and set out their ordered add-ons (s'mores kits, cornhole, Jenga, firewood, etc.)
- Change and make beds
- Clean interior and exterior of tent furnishings, including under beds, firepit, grill, etc.
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize all guest areas
- Light maintenance like making sure no breakers tripped power; problem solving in the moment needed if a guest is checking in!
- Ensure every tent meets Timberline's quality standards before guest arrival
- Assist with occasional deep cleans and seasonal projects
- Help maintain organization of cleaning supplies and inventory
Requirements
- Able to Work & Problem Solve independently - this is a job where you manage your schedule and claim the shifts you want (though we ask for a minimum of 4-6 shifts per week), and you will work commonly alone. While we have a system of accountability, you need to be independently motivated and able to work effectively on your own.
- Dependable and punctual
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to lift approximately 20-30 pounds
- Reliable transportation
