What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Manager position at Timberline Fisheries Corp?
Timberline is seeking a (HR) Manager to join our team. The HR Manager will apply comprehensive knowledge to recruitment and placement, classification, employee relations, development, and/or incentive awards.
The HR Manager will respond to telephone and/or emails within a timely manner and keep management informed about their status and current applicants in the pipeline.
Main Duties:
- Determine staffing needs, evaluate applicants, conduct interview and onboard applicants
- Develop policies and procedures
- Inform management daily about employee situation(s)
- Track and run HR data reports (i.e. Hiring, onboarding, full-time employees, gains, losses, etc.)
- Create and edit job postings
- Field calls and emails with exceptional customer service response
- Responsible for progressive discipline
- Maintain company training (Safety, OSHA, Forklifts, etc.)
- Maintain employee relations and be accessible for employees to discuss issues and problems Mediate problems if necessary
- Represent Timberline during unemployment hearings and proceedings
- Maintain all OSHA, EEOC & FMLA reports
Qualifications
- 2 years Human Resources experience
- Experience with document scanning, answering phones, and other basic administrative tasks
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Exceptional written and oral communications skills
- Proficient in utilizing automated staffing systems and web-base applications
- Ability to perform internal staffing and placement work including generating job analyses and descriptions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $45.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Marion, IL 62959: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
- Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Professional In Human Resources (Preferred)
