Duties
- Assist with reading and interpreting construction plans and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of project specifications
- Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently
- Implement erosion control measures to protect the environment and maintain site stability
- Operate power tools and equipment for various construction tasks, including cutting, drilling, and assembling structures
- Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on construction equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Follow all workplace safety regulations, including OSHA safety standards, respiratory protection protocols, and climbing safety procedures
- Support the installation of construction components such as framing, roofing, or concrete forms while adhering to blueprint specifications
- Assist with site cleanup, material staging, and organization to maintain a safe and productive work environment
Qualifications
- Previous construction experience required
- Residential construction experience preferred
- Experience with trim carpentry, concrete, and general contracting
- Perform or assist with concrete work
- Follow project plans, instructions, and quality standards
- Prioritize tasks to keep projects on schedule and meet deadlines
- Work independently and take initiative without constant supervision
- Help direct and lead other employees when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
- Identify problems and help develop practical solutions
- Take pride in completing quality work efficiently
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair and maintenance is highly desirable
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, climbing, and manual handling tasks in various weather conditions
- Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and industrial equipment used in construction projects
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret technical instructions clearly
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Deadline-oriented with good time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to take direction and also demonstrate initiative
- Leadership ability and willingness to help guide other employees

Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour
Pay increases are available based on demonstrated experience, skill level, quality of work, reliability, productivity, and leadership ability.
We are willing to increase pay quickly for employees who demonstrate that they can take on greater responsibility and perform skilled construction work.
