Job Summary
We are a high end new construction general contracting team seeking a highly skilled and versatile member to join our custom home building construction team. In this role, you will leverage your extensive expertise in multi facets of carpentry to deliver top-quality craftsmanship on a wide range of projects. Your hands-on experience with blueprint reading, framing, siding, timber work, etc. will be essential in ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Accurately interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to follow project execution
- Perform framing, trim carpentry, siding, timber work, and finishing tasks with precision
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively
- Install fixtures such as doors, cabinetry, siding, etc.
- Engage in heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while maintaining safety protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized work site; adhere to all safety standards and regulations
Experience
- Proven hands-on experience in construction site environments
- Strong background in construction and blueprint reading for diverse project types
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques
- Experience with framing, siding, timber work and trim carpentry
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, electrical wiring basics, tile laying, flooring installation, and fixture mounting preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of work
