Job Summary: We are seeking an accomplished and highly motivated Program Development Manager to drive significant growth through a dynamic hybrid role encompassing sales, business development, and expert project management. This individual will be responsible for expanding our service footprint within our existing customer base, cultivating new client relationships, and overseeing the successful budgeting and execution of complex telecommunications projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate is a seasoned subject matter expert with a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects and a deep understanding of evolving telecom technologies.Key Responsibilities:Business Development & Sales (Hybrid):Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities by promoting our comprehensive suite of services to existing clients and expanding into new markets.Proactively generate leads, build strong relationships with key decision-makers, and develop strategic partnerships to secure new customer acquisition.Collaborate with internal technical and operational teams to assess client needs, define scope, and develop tailored, compelling proposals and statements of work (SOWs) for both existing and new service offerings.Negotiate contracts and terms with clients, ensuring alignment with company objectives and profitability targets.Project & Program Management:Lead the comprehensive budgeting, planning, execution, and closure of awarded projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources effectively, and manage project teams (both internal and external) to achieve successful outcomes.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, implementing contingency plans as necessary.Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement in processes and service delivery.Subject Matter Expertise:Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert insights and guidance on complex telecommunications technologies and strategic solutions.Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes to identify new business opportunities and enhance service offerings.Qualifications:Experience:Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in a hybrid role combining business development/sales and project/program management within the telecommunications industry.Extensive and verifiable track record of successfully securing and completing large-scale, complex telecommunications projects (e.g., multi-year programs, multi-million dollar initiatives).Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets and develop new revenue streams.Demonstrated experience in proposal writing, contract negotiation, and client relationship management.Technical Expertise (Subject Matter Expert in Telecommunication Technologies):Deep understanding and practical experience with 4G LTE and 5G NR deployments (including mmWave, C-band, and mid-band strategies).Expertise in Fiber Optic Network Design & Construction (FTTx, OSP/ISP, long-haul, metro, and dark fiber solutions).Knowledge of Small Cell and Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) deployments.Familiarity with Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) technologies and implementations.Understanding of core IP Networking, routing, switching, and data center connectivity.Awareness of emerging technologies such as Edge Computing, IoT, and Private Networks.Education & Certifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
