Application Developer
Position Summary: This position reports to the Lead Application Developer and will be responsible for creating and modifying mission-critical applications to suit Timberline’s business needs for Medicaid billing solutions across multiple states.
The Developer requires strong business process skills and would be responsible for reviewing, analyzing and modifying existing systems including coding, testing, debugging and installation. The Developer will consult with users to identify current business operating procedures and to clarify program objectives, and is also responsible for writing documentation to describe custom configuration of applications and operating procedures to liaison with 3rd party application development consultants.
Qualifications/Required Experience
- In-depth knowledge of web-based application development and support
- Extensive experience developing in C#, .NET, Core MVC framework, HTML, JavaScript , JQuery and Microsoft SQL Server
- Strong object-oriented programming skills
- Solid background in database design, development and optimization using Microsoft SQL Server
- General knowledge and understanding of hardware, networking, operating systems and other development platforms
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Project
- Strong project management skills with effective results focused within an information systems environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in the development and implementation of standards, procedures, and guidelines to support operational processes
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
- Willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours
- Post-secondary degree in computer science or related field or a combination of related experience and education
Job Type: Full-time
Salary range: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 annually, performance based increase at 6 months.
