Our fast-growing GP and Perio practice is looking for GP and/or Perio Dental Assistants! We have flexible opportunities for Full-time, Part-time or Per Diem.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the dental practice's operations. This position requires excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Prepare instruments and equipment according to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate medical records and patient charts, ensuring all information is up-to-date.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist.
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and assist with ordering when necessary.
- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as making impressions or pouring models.
- Monitor patient vital signs during procedures as needed.
Skills
- Familiarity with medical coding practices related to dental procedures is a plus.
- Experience in a dental clinic setting preferred but not required.
- Ability to maintain accurate medical records with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
