Part to Full-Time Family Assistant / Housekeeper

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Part-Time to potentially Full-Time Family Assistant / Housekeeper to assist with maintaining clean, well-run household and providing occasional support to a busy family of residences (ABQ and Santa Fe). This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating order, takes initiative, and is comfortable helping with a variety of household tasks with self-motivation.

Schedule

• Part – Full Time (at least 25 - 40 hours per week)
• Flexible schedule, with preference for weekday daytime hours
• Additional hours may be available as needed

Primary Responsibilities

Household Cleaning & Organization

• Maintain readiness of multiple residences
• General housekeeping including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping
• Clean and maintain kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas
• Change bed linens and launder household linens
• Coordinate service vendors and maintenance appointments
• Seasonal organization and storage
• Organize closets, cabinets, pantries, and storage areas
• Maintain/Clean Outdoor porch areas
• Maintain household supplies

Laundry & Household Management

• Wash, fold, and put away laundry
• Manage dry cleaning drop-off/pick-up as needed and other minor errands
• Keep household spaces tidy and functional

Household Support

• Grocery shopping and running household errands
• Keep plants alive, some pruning/trimming
• Unpack groceries and organize pantry items
• Help prepare the home for guests and family gatherings

Light Childcare Duties

• Provide occasional assistance with child while parents are present
• Help supervise child during household activities
• Support family routines and help manage household logistics
• On occasion assist with picking up or dropping off of child

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, nanny, family assistant, or household management experience preferred with references (Do not apply without any experience)
• Dependable, trustworthy, and discreet (a background check will be required)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Comfortable around children and family pets
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Compensation

• Highly Competitive hourly pay based on experience
